Versi 2.1.
Satu orang, satu akun.
Konten tugas milik klien.
Reviewers, other contributors and our staff are colleagues. Disagree with a review as much as you like and say so plainly, but keep it about the work.
Harassment, threats, slurs and discrimination have no place here, whether in a review note, a community post or a message. That covers race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, family status and anything else that a person did not choose and should not be judged on. It applies to how you treat other contributors as much as to how we treat you.
If you review other people's work, review it against the standard rather than against the person, and write a reason they can act on. Somebody reading your note should be able to tell what to do differently next time.
In the community, you appear under a handle rather than your name, and so does everybody else. Do not try to identify anyone, do not post anyone's personal details and do not bring disagreements from one thread into another.
Do not game the numbers. Reserving work you have no intention of doing, rushing tasks to raise a count, submitting the same answer repeatedly or referring accounts you control yourself all take money from people doing the work properly.
Tell us the truth about yourself: where you live, which languages you actually work in and what you have actually done. Your profile decides which work you are shown, and a profile built on a claim you cannot back up ends with work returned and time wasted on both sides.
Follow the law where you are. You are responsible for your own tax on what you earn here, for being allowed to do this work in the country you are doing it from and for not working from anywhere our payment partners cannot legally pay. If any of that changes, tell us before it becomes a problem.
If instructions are unclear, contradictory or ask for something you think is a mistake, say so before you spend an afternoon on it. That is useful to us and it is not a complaint.
If you think a decision about your work was wrong, ask. If you think you have been treated unfairly by anybody here, including our own staff, tell us and it will be looked at by somebody who was not involved.
If you believe something on this platform is unlawful, unsafe or dishonest, you can report it and you will be protected for doing so. Nobody loses work, standing or pay for raising a concern in good faith. That protection is the one the European whistleblowing rules and the equivalent Canadian and American protections are built to provide, and we would offer it regardless.
We tell you what a task pays before you start it, in your own currency where we can and we pay for accepted work whether or not the client is happy with us. Payouts run on a published schedule and you can see every entry in your ledger.
Every rejection comes with a reason written by a person, and you can read it. Your standing is shown to you in full, with the numbers it is built from and you can see exactly what it would take to move up. There are no hidden scores.
What we watch depends on the project. Some clients require that a work session is recorded while a task is open, which can include screenshots or a record of keystrokes. Where a project requires that, the task says so before you start it, only the time a task is open is covered, and you are free to decline the task. Outside a task that says so, we do not monitor your screen, your keystrokes or when you are at your desk. We measure what your work did.
We do not give clients your name. They buy the work and the standard it met. Who did it is ours to look after, and in the community you are known only by a handle you did not have to invent.
Nothing about your behaviour is inferred and held against you by a machine. Automated checks can flag a task or hold a payout for a person to look at. Only a person can warn, restrict, suspend or ban and they have to write down why.
If we get something wrong, whether a bad rejection, a late payment or a course that taught the wrong thing, we will say so and fix it rather than leave you to find out.
We hold the details you gave us to apply, the documents you sent to verify who you are, the work you submitted, the reviews of it and the records of what you were paid. We hold them in a data region chosen by your country of residence, and we do not move them out of it to make our own lives easier.
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong and ask us to hand it to you in a form you can take elsewhere. You can also ask us to delete your personal data, and we delete what we can. Some records are kept regardless: enforcement decisions and appeals, the identity and payment checks behind them, and payments already made. They are kept so the platform can be policed, so an account that was removed cannot simply be created again, and to meet tax and legal obligations. We tell you exactly what is retained if you ask. We answer these requests within thirty days and usually much sooner, and we do not charge for them. These are the rights the GDPR, PIPEDA and the CCPA describe and we extend them to everybody, wherever they live, within those limits.
Deletion has one honest limit. Records of payments already made are kept for as long as tax law where the payment was made requires, which is typically six to seven years and identity documents are kept for as long as the checks they support have to be evidenced. We will tell you exactly what is kept and why.
Your CV is read so that we can match you to work, and what we concluded from it is shown to you on your profile with the words it was based on. If you disagree with any of it, your correction is what we use from then on.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it to advertise to you. We share it only with the people who need it to pay you, verify you or deliver the platform to you, and each of those is bound to the same standard as this document.
A person looks at it, not an automated system and we ask you what happened before deciding anything. You are told what you are said to have done, you are given the chance to reply and the person deciding is not the person who raised it.
Most problems end with a conversation. Serious ones, such as sharing client material, working under somebody else's account, harassing another person or deliberate fraud, can end your account and any unpaid balance connected to the fraud. We will tell you which of those we believe has happened and why.
If your account is closed, you keep everything you have properly earned. You can ask for the decision to be reviewed, and that review is done by somebody who did not make it. If you cannot sign in, the appeal form works without an account.
This document will change as the law and the platform do. When it changes in a way that matters, we ask you to read and accept it again. We never treat silence as agreement.
