Acceptable use policy

The principle

In short: Do your own work, honestly, and do not try to defeat the quality checks.

Almost everything in this policy follows from one idea. The value of what Corpshore delivers is that a real qualified person made a judgement. Anything that breaks that link damages the work, the client, and every other contributor whose rates depend on the network being trustworthy.

Not allowed

In short: Sharing accounts, automating answers, gaming gold sets, submitting work that is not yours.

Sharing, selling or transferring your account, or letting anyone else complete work under it.

Using automated tools or generative systems to produce task responses, unless a task specifically instructs you to.

Attempting to identify quality-control or gold-set items so as to treat them differently from ordinary work.

Submitting work copied from another source, or work that infringes someone else's rights.

Creating more than one account, including after a suspension.

Misrepresenting your languages, qualifications or location in order to access work you are not eligible for.

Attempting to access projects, data or accounts you have not been granted access to.

Explicitly fine

In short: Working elsewhere, taking breaks, using reference material, disagreeing with a reviewer.

Working for other platforms or clients. There is no exclusivity of any kind.

Taking a break of any length. Going quiet does not affect your standing and your qualifications do not expire.

Using dictionaries, reference material and search to do a task well, unless a specific task says otherwise.

Disagreeing with a review decision and saying so. Challenging a rejection is a normal part of the process, not a mark against you.

Discussing pay and conditions with other contributors.

In community spaces

In short: Be civil. No harassment, no spam, no recruiting people off-platform.

Harassment, hate speech, and abuse directed at anyone are not tolerated.

Do not post other people's personal information.

Do not use community spaces to advertise, to recruit for other platforms, or to sell anything.

Do not share client data, task content or anything covered by confidentiality.

What happens if you cross the line

In short: Usually a warning. Serious or repeated breaches can suspend an account. A person always decides, and you are told why.

Most breaches are a misunderstanding and are handled with a conversation.

Where enforcement is needed the response is proportionate: a warning, restricting access to certain work, suspension, or account closure in the most serious cases.

Automated systems may flag behaviour for review. They never suspend or close an account on their own. A member of staff makes every enforcement decision and records a reason.

You will be told what the decision was and why, and you may appeal it by writing to us.

Earnings for work already accepted remain payable regardless of an enforcement decision.
