Why Jwuma

Built for the people doing the work

Most data-work platforms treat contributors as interchangeable throughput. Jwuma is built on the opposite assumption: that the person doing the work is the reason the work is any good.

Humans approve. Automation only flags.

No algorithm can reject your work, ban your account or turn down your application. Automation can hold something for review or flag it for a person to look at. That's the ceiling of what it's allowed to do. Every acceptance, every rejection, every enforcement decision is made by a named human being and it's logged.

Paid on acceptance

Your money is tied to internal QA, not to how long a client takes to review a batch. Once QA accepts, it's yours.

Your data stays in your region

Documents and personal details live in your region's own database. Not pooled into one global pile.

A rubric you can actually see

Before you start, you know the standard you'll be judged against. And it's frozen at that moment, so it can't shift underneath you halfway through a batch. If a reviewer rejects your work, you get the specific criterion they applied and a window to fix it.

Performance metrics only

We measure acceptance rate, throughput and reliability. We do not store personality profiles or behavioural inferences about you. That isn't a policy we can quietly change, it's absent from the data model.

Work in your own language

The contributor app runs in 6 languages and the work itself is often about your language, code-switch transcription pays for fluency most platforms can't even assess.

The journey

From application to payout, step by step

Nothing here is aspirational. Every step below is something the platform actually does today. Click through it.

Step 1 of 7

Find work that fits you

Browse open listings and apply to the ones matching your languages, location and skills. Your profile is built once and reused for every application.

  • Upload a CV and have the fields extracted for you or fill them in by hand
  • Country restrictions are applied before you ever see a listing, so you never waste an application
  • Apply to as many listings as you're eligible for
What you'll do

Three kinds of work, one account

Qualify once and you can take on any project type you're eligible for. Switch between them as listings open.

Turn your phone into a data-collection tool

Photograph real-world locations. Market stalls, storefronts, street signage, product shelves. Following a structured checklist. The app validates each shot as you take it, preserves EXIF for provenance and records consent where people or private property are involved.

  • Works offline-first, syncing when you regain signal
  • Built-in validators flag blur, duplicates and missing metadata before you submit
  • Native camera access on iOS and Android through the installable app

Ways to earn

Seven ways work gets paid

Not everything fits a per-task rate. Corpshore runs hourly, project, contract and field arrangements alongside the platform default, so the payment model can match the actual shape of the work.

Settled on the platform

Paid a fixed rate for each accepted task

The default across the platform. Every task shows its rate before you reserve it, and the moment internal QA accepts your work the amount posts to your ledger. No negotiation, no invoicing, no waiting on a client.

  • Rate visible before you commit
  • Credited on QA acceptance
  • Settled in the weekly payout batch

Per task, AI surveys and one-time work settle automatically through your Jwuma ledger on the weekly payout run. Hourly, project, contract and field arrangements are agreed with a coordinator before the work starts, then paid through the same local rails.

Earnings

Transparent rates, weekly payouts

Every task shows its pay rate before you reserve it. Every accepted task posts to a ledger you can watch in real time. There are no platform fees, no deductions and no waiting on a client's review clock to get paid.

  • Paid on internal QA acceptance. Not on client acceptance, which can take days
  • Weekly batches with a configurable day per region
  • Local rails, Payoneer, MTN MoMo, M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Payme and Click
  • Referral bonuses when someone you refer passes onboarding

Estimate your earnings

Based on pay rates currently live on the platform. Move the sliders to see how it adds up.

Per week
$200.00
Per month
$866.00

An illustration, not a guarantee. Actual earnings depend on how much work is open in your region and how much of it you complete and pass review.

Global network

Work with us from anywhere we operate

Corpshore runs registered local entities in 18+ countries. Each with its own team, payroll and site. Wherever you are, the project you join is run by people in your region and paid through a rail that works there.

Questions

Everything you might reasonably ask

Create an account, complete your profile and apply to a listing that matches your languages and location. Depending on the project you'll do a short written interview, a short course or both. Once you're onboarded, open tasks appear in your dashboard for you to reserve whenever you want to work.
