Geopolitical questions are the ones where a model's answer can be factually defensible and still wrong for the reader, because naming, framing and sequence all carry weight. Territorial disputes, contested sovereignty, conflict attribution and sanctions regimes all require care that generic evaluation misses.

The work involves checking claims against the actual record, flagging where a model adopts one party's terminology as neutral description, and identifying confident assertions about live situations that no source supports.

What you would be doing

• Assess international affairs content for accuracy and neutrality of framing
• Flag contested territory, sovereignty and naming handled as settled
• Check conflict and sanctions claims against the record
• Identify confident claims about fast-moving situations that outrun evidence

What we need from you

• Depth in international relations, area studies, security or a related field
• Ability to hold competing narratives accurately without endorsing either
• A reliable internet connection and a device you can work on comfortably
• Ability to follow a written rubric precisely, including its edge cases
• Willingness to have your work reviewed, and to act on that review

Helpful, not required

• Regional or language specialism
• Policy, diplomatic, defence or research background
• Previous annotation, transcription, moderation or research experience
• Comfort with spreadsheets or annotation tooling
• A subject you know unusually well, whatever it is
