What is the difference between a delivery centre and a remote market?
A delivery centre is a real place: premises Corpshore holds, staff employed by a local Corpshore entity, and work that can run on site. Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and South Africa are among them.
A remote market is one where Corpshore recruits contributors who work from home, without a physical site. Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Mexico, Colombia, Vietnam, Türkiye and Poland are among these.
Why do some projects restrict which countries can work on them?
Two reasons, and they are different. The first is client data residency: a client may require that their data is only handled inside specific jurisdictions, usually for regulatory reasons. The second is sanctions compliance, where a small number of territories are blocked platform-wide.
Either way you will not see a listing you are not eligible for, so a restriction costs you nothing but a listing you could not have taken.
What if Corpshore does not operate in your country?
Then honestly, there will not be work for you right now, and it is better to say so than to leave an application sitting. Coverage grows, but slowly and deliberately, because opening a market properly means entities, payment rails and local staff rather than just a signup form.
That is a real limitation of the owned-site model. A marketplace can accept anyone anywhere and frequently does, which is how people end up approved and then idle for months.
