Central Asia QA Team Lead, Annotation

This is the promotion path for Corpshore AI's strongest Tashkent annotators: a permanent, onsite QA leadership role over the annotation and speech teams supporting our Central Asia language programs. You'll run the Tier 1 peer-review layer of Corpshore's three-tier QA cascade, coach annotators against gold-set benchmarks, and be the first escalation point before work reaches an Expert QA Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily QA sampling and peer-review sign-off for Uzbek, Russian, and Karakalpak annotation batches
• Coach a pod of annotators against a versioned taxonomy and gold-set accuracy benchmarks in Jwuma
• Triage flagged edge cases and route unresolved disputes to the Expert QA Lead
• Run daily huddles and weekly calibration sessions to keep inter-annotator agreement high
• Report accuracy, throughput, and error-pattern trends to the Tashkent site operations manager

What we look for

• 2+ years of annotation, transcription, or linguistic QA experience, ideally in an outsourced or AI data environment
• Native or professional fluency in Uzbek and working proficiency in Russian; English for cross-hub reporting
• Demonstrated ability to give structured, actionable feedback to a team
• Comfortable working onsite full-time at the Tashkent hub
• Strong attention to detail and calm under deadline pressure

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM/RLHF annotation taxonomies
• Prior people-management or team-lead experience
• Exposure to speech/TTS QA in addition to text annotation
