Role overview

Istanbul is Corpshore AI's MENA-bridging hub, delivering Turkish annotation alongside Arabic-language coverage across Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and regional dialects. As a Turkish & Arabic Data Annotator, you'll label text, speech, and multimodal datasets to a versioned taxonomy for global AI clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Annotate Turkish and/or Arabic (MSA and regional dialect) text, audio, or image data in Jwuma
  • Apply dialect-aware labeling guidance where projects require regional Arabic variants
  • Peer-review teammates' completed batches ahead of QA handoff
  • Flag ambiguous items or taxonomy gaps to QA leads
  • Maintain 97%+ accuracy against gold-standard benchmark sets

What we look for

  • Native or near-native Turkish and/or Arabic (MSA plus a regional dialect a plus)
  • Strong written and spoken English for taxonomy instructions
  • High attention to detail and comfort with structured, repetitive digital tasks
  • Available onsite at the Istanbul hub on a standard shift schedule
  • Comfortable learning annotation tools (full training provided)

Nice to have

  • Bilingual Turkish/Arabic fluency
  • Prior BPO, translation, or transcription experience
  • Familiarity with a specific Arabic regional dialect (Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, Maghrebi)
