The rules, what happens when they are broken and how to ask us to look again.
Keep it about the work, treat people as the code of conduct asks, do not share contact details, and do not post anything from a project that is not yours to share. Project rooms in particular are confidential: what is discussed there stays there.
Repeatedly posting contact details after warnings, harassment or abuse of other members, sharing confidential project material, and anything dishonest about who is doing the work. Sharing an account or doing work on somebody else's is the most serious, because it removes the one thing the client is paying for.
For contact details there is a warning ladder: the post goes up with the details hidden, you are told, and repeated warnings lead to a suspension from posting. For serious breaches there is no ladder. Every adverse decision is made by a person and carries a reason.
It stops you posting in the rooms. It does not affect your work, your earnings or your payouts, and it does not remove anything you have already been approved for. A suspension either runs for a stated period or stays until somebody lifts it, and which one is shown to you.
Use the appeal option in support. Say what decision you are appealing and why you think it was wrong, with anything specific that supports it. A person who was not involved in the original decision looks at it. Appealing does not make anything worse for you.
Appeals are read by a person and there is a queue, so nobody can tell you in advance when yours will be reached. Sending the same appeal repeatedly does not move it up. You will be told the outcome and the reason either way.
Every post has a report option, and there is a separate one for reporting a member when the problem is a pattern rather than one message. Reports are anonymous to everybody except staff, and a reviewer who was not in the conversation decides. A post reported by three different people is hidden immediately while it is looked at.
A reviewer who was not part of the conversation reads the post and the report. If nothing was wrong, nothing happens and you may never hear about it. If something was, you are told what and why, and you can appeal it.
Report it. Nobody on this platform can offer you work outside it, get you verified faster, or need money from you for anything. Anybody asking for a fee, for your sign-in link, or to move the conversation to another app is doing something the rules exist to stop.
Not the content of it. Project material, the client's identity, screenshots of tasks and the specifics of what you are annotating are confidential. Talking generally about doing transcription or how you organise your day is fine. If you are unsure, assume the project material is not yours to share.
